In this video Mike Kreps, Groom Law Group, asks Ian Edelist, former CEO, Club Vita Canada about what Club Vita can learn about the US from their experiences in the UK and Canada.
Ian explains that even though the UK, Canada and the US are very different nations, the real point of interest is that people within each of those countries are very different to each other. The techniques Club Vita has developed in the UK and Canada to capture this diversity do indeed travel well.
Club Vita has just published its first study on US longevity, showing that different data items held by pension plans on their participants can capture up to 10 years difference in life expectancy in retirement.
People in the US are different from people in the UK and Canada, but what’s equally important is that the people within the US are different from each other - and it’s capturing that diversity which is key.
On our travels we get asked many interesting questions: Is longevity risk actually important? Have we reached the limit of life expectancy? Is Club Vita a night club / sports team / all-inclusive holiday company?
Here our team answer some of the more frequent questions we are asked. If you have more questions that we haven’t covered, please get in touch.
